These terms apply when you use this site or send a request to the office in Hartford, CT for a ride between an address in one of 36 Connecticut towns and Bradley International Airport. Sending a request means you accept them.

1. You, the office, and this site
These terms are between you, the person who sends a request or uses these pages, and American Classic Adventures LLC ("the office"), the company that runs this site from its office in Hartford, CT. The car company that drives a ride is a separate business, and its own terms govern the ride itself.
2. Work the office takes on
The office takes ride requests by form, email and phone, sends written replies in four runs a day, and passes each request to one Connecticut car company that holds its own livery permit. The office answers for that work: reading the request, passing it on accurately, and replying on time. It sells no goods and delivers none; its whole service is the request and the replies.
3. Its fare, its clock, its rules
The car company sets its fare, its pickup time, its waiting allowance, its rules for changes and cancellations, and how it is paid. It states them in writing with its confirmation. Those terms are between you and the car company.
4. Starting figures plus 6.35% tax
Figures on this site are starting figures per car, each way, for a sedan or an SUV from an address in a given town. Connecticut sales tax of 6.35% comes on top. The car company's written fare for your exact address, date and time is the fixed rate for the ride, and anything it adds stands as its own line.
5. Confirmation makes it a reservation
A request, a reply from the office and a written fare are steps toward a booking, not a booking. A ride is reserved only when the car company confirms it in writing after you accept its fare. Until then, either side may withdraw.
6. Paying for the ride
You pay the car company, on the terms in its confirmation. The office does not take card numbers or payments from riders. The car company pays the office a set amount for each ride it accepts, and you pay the office nothing at all.
7. Moving or withdrawing a request
Before the car company confirms, you can change or withdraw a request at no charge from the office. After it confirms, its written terms apply. The page about moving or calling off a ride sets out each case.
8. Accurate requests and fair conduct
Give a real address, the correct flight details, an honest count of riders and bags, and a phone number where you can be reached. Do not use the form to send anything unlawful or abusive, or requests made in someone else's name without their agreement.
9. Where the request work ends
The office answers for the handling of your request and its replies. The driving, the vehicle, the driver and the timing on the road are the car company's work and fall under its own written terms. The office cannot change airport rules, flight schedules or road conditions.
10. Connecticut law; letters to Trumbull Street
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Questions about them go to replies@americanclassicadventures.com or to 190 Trumbull St, Suite 203, Hartford, CT 06103, or by phone to +1 (860) 293-7514 every day from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Eastern.
